The planned Phone2Desktop hosted service would let a phone pair with an always-on web hub, rather than depending on a laptop staying awake. This page is a preview of the direction, not a live service or a preorder.
Who would it help?
People who use Phone2Desktop and want a hosted connection point for their phone. The planned hub is intended to support multiple accounts; account management, the web interface and deployment still need to be built.
Existing clients and the future hub are different.
- Existing phone client: Android software for forwarding SMS to a paired desktop and sending replies requested by the desktop.
- Existing desktop client: documented support for macOS, Windows and Linux, with SMS and incoming-call notifications.
- Planned hosted service: a separate multi-account web hub. It is not an available Botwork subscription today.
The planned workflow.
- Pair a phone with the hosted hub.
- Use an always-on connection point rather than relying on a sleeping laptop.
- Access the planned account and web interface once the hosted service is built.
This is a concept walkthrough. The hosted interface, supported workflows and final service limits are not yet published.
Availability and pricing.
No launch date or price has been announced. There is no hosted-service checkout, trial or live hosted endpoint to use yet. Existing client features do not establish which capabilities will be included in the hosted offering.

Can I subscribe now?
No. The hosted service is planned and is not available to order.
Is this the same as the existing Phone2Desktop clients?
No. The existing Android and desktop clients are separate software. The proposed hosted hub is additional work.
Can I discuss a use case?
Yes — contact Botwork with your Phone2Desktop use case. Pricing and launch timing will be announced when they are established.
