macOS alpha · Keyboard-driven browser

Keep your hands on the keyboard.

Botwork Browser is an experimental browser for keyboard-first users. It combines vim-style motions, borderless windows and a YAML-configured workspace, so your browsing setup can reflect the way you work.

Built for people who like to configure their tools.

This is a niche alpha for users comfortable with vim-style navigation and editing configuration files. If you prefer a conventional mouse-led browser, read the limitations before ordering.

A more deliberate browsing workspace.

  • Keyboard-first interaction. Use vim-style motions for browsing interactions.
  • Less interface clutter. Borderless windows keep the page at the centre of the workspace.
  • Explicit configuration. Describe sessions and windows in YAML instead of rebuilding the same setup each time.

What configuration looks like.

debug: false
default_page: https://duckduckgo.com
insert_mode: false
private: false
sessions:
  Calendar:
    enabled: false
    windows:
    workspace: Work

This shortened example is adapted from the current product description. It shows a named session, its enabled state and a window URL; the optional workspace setting is described for macOS users of yabai. Read the product page for configuration details.

Availability and limitations.

Only macOS builds are currently offered. Windows and Linux builds are described as future work. The interface and keyboard interactions may change while the product is in alpha. MQTT configuration sync is described as disabled; modular extensions and Alice integration are future ideas, not included launch features.

Price, download and use terms.

Ordering gives access to the browser download and developer ticket system. Current subscription pricing and trial terms are rendered from WooCommerce below. The published product terms allow cancellation at any time, continued browser use after cancellation and free updates regardless of subscription status.

The Browser is not open source. Permission to modify or otherwise use its source must be requested and reviewed. Check the full product terms and terms of service before ordering.

Questions before you try it.

Does it support Windows or Linux?

Not currently. Only macOS builds are offered; Windows and Linux are future work without a published launch date.

Can I keep using it after cancelling?

Yes. The current product description says you can keep using the browser and receive free updates after cancellation. Read the product terms before purchasing.

How do I ask about compatibility or report feedback?

The subscription includes access to the developer ticket system. For a pre-purchase compatibility or account question, contact Botwork.
